Satellite Child Find is not a replacement for 911, local law enforcement or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Satellite Child Find does not independently activate surveillance or field resources without appropriate authorization.

Satellite Child Find is not a public-surveillance network. It does not continuously photograph vehicles, identify bystanders or create a database of the public’s movements. It is a voluntary, emergency-activated system designed to locate one enrolled missing person for a limited period, with verified authorization, audited access and automatic data deletion.
